Karen R - 2nd February 2023We had a great stay! Washed the dogs under the outdoor shower. Saw kangaroos and a peacock on occasion. BBQ area was awesome. Thanks. We'll be back for sure.
Great!
Gail - 31st March 2018From the moment you park in the undercover carport and walk straight through to the front door, you feel relaxed and ready to enjoy your time in this very special location. Sussex Cottage is a lovely, clean and tidy, bright and airy, comfortable and uncluttered (which I especially like) beach house, with a great back yard for children and pets to run around in...the yard is fully fenced, should you need to duck round the corner to the General Store. Great accommodation for a family of 6, or in my case, just for one person with my 2 small dogs. Floorboards make for an easy living style and there are plenty of spaces in the house for everyone to enjoy. The smaller style kitchen provides your basic cooking utensils, pans and crockery, or you can use the bbq on the undercover back balcony, just bring your all grocery needs along. Plenty of board games for the kids and adults. I thoroughly enjoyed my few weeks here, it is a quiet location nearing on the edge of a National Park, and regular sightings of native birds and kangaroos makes it all the more special. It is only a short walk to the lakes and parks, and in very close proximity to your choice of beaches to drive to. I will definitely return with the family, there is so much to do and see here.
Filthy! Not child friendly
Alysia - 5th January 2016House was filthy, real estate didn't care, mouldy shower curtain, ants throughout the house. Wasp nests in the front door screen. 2cm thick of dust under the beds and chewing gum. Shower leaks, washing machine gets stuck on drain cycle. WORST HOLIDAY OF MY LIFE!!! Hospitalised due to asthma because of the filth. My daughter almost pulled the ancient Rv onto herself that was perched precariously on a metal trolley shelf in the main bedroom. The whole house stank musty and mouldy
